• Log-linear and linear-log: define number of cycles and size of a cycle
• Log-log: Define sizes of cycles and numbers of cycles
• Polar: Either in degrees or radians, with the circles in linear scale
• Isometric: Equilateral triangles, define the size and thickness of the 3 line varieties.
